on the drive in the the trailhead looking back to the 90 meter jump at Lake Placid. Matt filtering water for breakfast.
good morning for a big hike. from Marcy Dam. how many times has this been photographed? @[1300291727:2048:Ted Chittenden] takes a shot of Marcy peak. We're a solid 30 minutes and a leg-burning, blood pumping rock scramble to the peak.
@[1331193559:2048:Matt LaPan] atop New York State. Highest man in state of New York for this moment in time.
over the edge lots of effort to get here. planning, packing, hiking, camping, and more hiking. but it's always worth it.
